EgenTid means time for yourself. It is a personal podcast studio for Mac that turns topics, text, PDFs, web articles and YouTube transcripts into episodes you can listen to in your own time.
The process brings together AI-assisted scriptwriting, voice generation, cover images and MP3 export. You can review and edit a script before creating the audio, work with different voice profiles, and make conversations with more than one voice. A companion web player brings the listening experience to iPhone.
Claude, in its different versions, is a central creative and development tool, alongside Suno, Blender, Midjourney, ChatGPT and Grok.
EgenTid puts this API-based approach into practice: connected language and voice models become the foundation of a useful creative tool. It supports both local voice generation and API-based voices, with the Mac app bringing the workflow together.
